Dzien Dobry Everyone,
I hope you are well.
I am very pleased to introduce you to my first group tour offer for 2025. The tour has been designed to highlight WWII as it occurred in the Gdansk and Northern Regions of Poland, including the place where it all began - Around 0445 hours on 1 September 1939, the German battleship SMS Schleswig-Holstein levelled her guns at the Polish garrison on Westerplatte and fired, beginning WWII.
As the tour begins on 30 August 2025, we will indeed be on Westerplatte on 1 September 2025.
During the tour, you will also experience:
Welcome Dinner
Gdansk Old Town
Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk
Westerplatte Peninsular
KL Stutthof
Malbork Castle
European Solidarity Centre
Hel Peninsular
Comprehensive Wolf's Lair Tour

I was also very pleased during the week to have hit the 5,000 subscribers mark on Substack. It is to all of you that I say a huge thank you. But most of all, thank you so much for your interest in this phenomenal history and the stories and lessons that come from it for all of us.
Never Forget!
With warmest regards,
Damien Stewart
Your tour is something absolutely special for everyone who knows how WW2 started in Danzig and evolved into the global conflict. Staying in Westerplatte Battlefield early in the morning you could easily imagine the first shots from Schleswig Holstein Battleship and those from the Lighthouse across the Harbour Canal. Highly recommended not only for military history fans but also people interested in present day situation in Europe.
That's a wonderful tour program! I hope it goes well. Also, congratulations on reaching the subscriptions milestone!
