Very interesting. One thing that jumped out to me was Germany's use of false flag operations with Poland. Japan did something similar in China!

Isn't it funny how those who unjustifiably begin an unjust war need to manufacture reasons to have begun that war?

Before the war started Hitler asked the Poles for four corridors to Danzig Danzig was in East Prussia and East Prussia was ceded to Poland at the end of WW1 as part of war reparations Many including Britain thought the reparations imposed on Germany were too harsh The Poles asked Winston Churchill if they should grant Hitlers request Churchill hated the Germans after WW1 so told the Poles not to grant Hitlers request It is one of the reasons Hitler attacked Poland Had Poland granted the four corridors whether Germany would still have attacked is a question

Thank you Gerard. I really appreciate your input. Yes it does appear to me also that the Versailles Treaty was a major issue leading into WWII. I of course do not give Germany any credit for that for beginning WWII, but I do think it is a worthy study to look at how Germany was treated after WWI compared to WWII to know how to treat vanquished foes in the future. Essentially, when you beat someone, don't rub their face in it! I personally don't blame the Poles for denying the corridor to Danzig. The Poles refused to go into a pact with Germany that would allow them to cross the Polish border with troops on their way to Russia because they did not want a foreign powers' forces on their soil. Which was the reason Hitler cancelled their non-aggression pact. I imagine this would have been a similar argument to not allowing Germany a corridor to Danzig. Similarly, Danzig was administered by the League of Nations and not in Polish control. I am also not sure anything would have appeased Hitlers desire to rule Europe, or if it was just an excuse for him to go to war.
